Wish Story:
Living with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, can be a difficult experience. The disease, usually present in childhood or early adulthood, leads to continual trips to the hospital for treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and in many cases, surgery. Unfortunately this was the reality for the bright and spirited 7-year-old Corinne. When asked about her number one wish, it was no surprise that she decided on a trip to The Happiest Place on EarthSM — Walt Disney World®! Visiting the Magic Kingdom®, the reality of hospitals, doctors and treatments was replaced with smiles, laughter and a family experiencing joy together. In addition to the Disney adventure, Corinne and her family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Give Kids The World Village™, a 70-acre non-profit resort in Central Florida. The fun-filled vacation created truly cherished memories for her whole family.
